If you’re looking for information about camping or hiking at this park, we have more information on our partner website – Pinery

Canoe & Kayak

This park fronts onto Lake Huron, which, except on calm days, is probably not the best option for anyone new to paddling. The good news is that there is the Old Ausable Channel that runs through the park and provides a much safer paddling experience.

The park rents canoes, Corcls, stand-up paddleboards, and single or double kayaks. As always best to check in advance and bring your own PFDs.

Where to Launch

You can launch at the canoe rental dock. Check out the Pinery Provincial Park overview map for the exact location.

Please Help

We strive to keep the information up to date, but it’s impossible to visit every location regularly. If you find something has changed or you think we’ve missed something important or useful, please Contact Us. We are always happy to include relevant local business information – just a one or two-sentence paragraph and a link to your website, or Facebook page.
